Are your products portable? Yes! With the traveling creative in mind, we specifically designed our product to be highly portable yet stylish and durable. We were frustrated with how difficult it was to travel with the current products available on the market so we set out to create a product that not only looks beautiful but packs up and travels with ease.
What is the size of your mat? Our mats come in at approximately 35 in x 28 in. when fully opened. 28in x 2.5in when rolled up. When using the other products available we frequently felt restricted on what and how we could style our flatlays as we were always running out of space. Photographers…NO MORE PHOTOSHOPPING the edges in post production to get more backdrop. Can we get an AMEN! Our mats are LARGE and provide plenty of surface area to make all of your flatlay dreams come true.
I see all of your photos were shot on film, what if I don’t shoot film? Not to worry! Although we love and adore the look of film our product photographs beautifully with whatever medium best fits your brand.
What is the current turn around time once the order is placed? The production lead time to create each mat is currently 1-3 business days but this does not include shipping time. Please check out our Shipping + Production page for more detailed info.
What is the best lighting to use to photograph your mats? As with any photograph lighting is everything. We love the look of soft natural light so we photographed our mats outside using soft diffused natural light. Although food photographers have used off camera studio lighting and our mats photograph beautifully. We suggest that you just explore what works best for you and have fun with it.
What is the best way to care for the mats? While we are proud of how durable our mats are compared to the fabric options available on the market we still suggest treating your mat with loving care.
